Her mission is to assist the hurting, poor, bereaved, and lost by sharing the word of God, teaching holistic values so they may have a more meaningful life in Jesus Christ. Her goal is to move beyond the walls of comfort (the church) into the vineyard.

Highly recommend you to get a copy of Minister Barbara Lofton’s book subject “The Cost of Favor". My reading of this book was threefold; Absolutely beautiful, touching, and inspiring however what I also learned in my reading of this book is when God leads you to the edge of the cliff. Trust Him fully and let go, only 1 of 2 things will happen, either He’ll catch you when you fall, or He’ll teach you how to fly! And when you have reached the end of your rope you will find the hern of His garment. I believe Minister Lofton touched a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me. Revelations 3:8. Press on Minister Lofton, press on. God bless you.

I confess, I bought the book because it was written by a childhood friend of mine, which meant it was easy to have it signed and add to my book collection. Then I read it and was not only blessed, but amazed at the insights and walk of faith Barb shares in this book. She is not afraid to admit the mistakes she made in life, and what she learned from them. Hardest of all, though, had to be her coming to terms with the tragic death of her daughter. In this book, she shares her walk with God and how she grew during each challenge of her life to date. The “Cost of Favor" shows just how much God showed His favor on the author. This is a must read for anyone who has made a mistake in life, gone thru a divorce, or lost a child. Even if you haven’t experienced any of the above (quit kidding yourselves, we all make mistakes!), you should still read it, just for the uplifting, spiritual guidance and remarkable messages that can be gleaned from Ms. Lofton’s choice of scriptures.

This book is not only a good read, a divine encounter, but a spiritual excursion! Minister Lofton shares the peace she has come to have with God with those around her. She details the struggles, pain, adversity, and joy that one must go through to come through. Minister Lofton does not hold back on the rough-house, row scrapping encounters she’s met as she journeys toward ‘Him". She emphasizes that obedience to the word of God is the formula for spiritual success. She challenges and encourages us to strengthen our community of faith, the importance of family, and the power of prayer. I hope that I can bless someone like she blessed me with her powerful testimonies and her continued walk with God.

Chapter six. My God, it was so moving, so thought-provoking. I can’t explain the pain that I had in my heart for you. I have been having so many problems with my son but they ended after I read this chapter. I just held him and every chance I get i tell him that I love him. I swear i cried for a week. We are great now, I have learned that every moment counts in this short life, touch by an angel. Thank you.
